The 34th Paper Tiger Internationals were staged 7-10 July 2025 at Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club near Noosa in SE Queensland. This was the first contest between teams from Australia and New Zealand since 2019 and was the 34th in the series.

Salcombe Merlin Rocket Week (29 June – 4 July), one of the most vibrant and fiercely competitive events on the UK dinghy calendar, proved to be the ultimate real-world test for the TEMO 1000 electric outboard motor.

Gunfleet Sailing Club hosted the 2025 Comet Nationals from June 6-8, a three-day event attracting 29 entries (including 9 ladies) from as far afield as Cornwall and Scotland. The competition was hot, because 5 Comet National Champions were in the fleet.

Over 130 entries have been received to-date for 74 Islands Distillery Airlie Beach Race Week and among them are a good roll-up from the multihulls taking to the water in the Racing, Passage and Weta 4.4 divisions.

David McDiarmid’s Honda Marine 18 footer team had just completed its three-in-a-row winning run at the 2020 JJ Giltinan World Championship on Sydney Harbour when the Covid pandemic hit and suspended the New Zealand 18ft skiff challenge until 2024.
