Saturday 2nd May provided a perfect early morning for the Seafarer’s Pennant race, which was also the 3rd race of the club’s Beck Trophy. The wind was a steady force 2 south westerly and came with brilliant sunshine.

A torrential morning storm bringing spectacular thunder and lightning to the Bay of Palma was then followed by a prolonged calm which prevented racing on the final day of 22nd Sandberg PalmaVela.

The final day of the 29er EuroCup in Malcesine delivered a full showcase of Lake Garda’s renowned wind systems, offering sailors a complete and demanding racing experience.
