Paul Meilhat’s Biotherm (FRA) has won the third leg after holding off Rosalin Kuiper’s Holcim – PRB (SUI) over a stormy final 24 hours at sea that saw a fierce Mediterranean storm packing howling winds up to 70 knots winds pass over the race course.

After a superb contest with second-placed Team Holcim-PRB in Leg 3 of The Ocean Race Europe, Paul Meilhat the skipper of race leader Biotherm, was able to breathe a big sigh of relief as he notched his third stage win in a row.

Sunshine and strong winds made the fleets muster all their technical skills on the 6th day of Burnham Week 2025.

Another light wind day for day 4 of the Europeans in Germany. It was tight at the top between 2 British boats, Glen Truswell & Ed FitzGerald leading Andy Shaw & Rob Struckett by 1 point.

The start to SeaLink Magnetic Island Race Week nearly wasn’t, as Principal Race Officer Denis Thompson flew the AP flag ashore because the breeze was too light on for racing this morning.

TUUCI Racing was crowned 2025 M32 North American Champion. “We just showed everybody that you can start at the bottom and work your way to the top,” said C.T. Olander. “Tears came to my eyes.”

After the suspension of the previous day, the fleet of 49 classic and vintage yachts was finally able to set sail on a short but intense course, starting and finishing in the natural harbor of the Menorcan capital.

With the start of the RC44 World Championship today off Scheveningen, the Netherlands lived up to its reputation for being able to offer four seasons in one day. The start of racing was first delayed by an hour waiting for the wind to fill in.
