Registration is now open for the 2027 ORC European Championship, which will bring Europe’s leading offshore racing fleet to Málaga from 4 to 12 June 2027.

The Yacht Club Italiano 2027 Sports Calendar was presented today during the Genoa International Boat Show, outlining a season that will run from January to October with fifteen events and ten months of activity on the water.

The event is organised by Circolo Vela Gargnano under the authority of the Italian Sailing Federation, with the support of Regione Lombardia and with Alpe Adria del Garda as event partner.

The Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA), represented by Sharjah Sports Channel, has announced the second edition of the 60-foot Sir Bu Nair Dhow Sailing Race, to be held on 10 October, celebrating the UAE’s maritime heritage and traditional sports.

A second place to Sir Peter Ogden’s 77ft Jethou in Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez’s Maxi 1 class was enough to hand Karel Komárek’s 100ft V the IMA’s coveted Mediterranean Maxi Inshore Challenge (MMIC) title for 2026.
