The Ocean Race Europe’s relentless schedule continues, and while it was a party atmosphere in Nice, for the sailors and shore crews there was hardly any down time between the finish of Leg 3 and the start of Leg 4 on Sunday.

The final morning dawned sunny but with the ominous sound of wind whistling through the trees and flashbacks to the night before… so let’s recap!

On August 27th and 28th 2025, the St Vincent and the Grenadines Sailing Association hosted two thrilling days of racing at the Sailing Association’s High Performance Centre at Coconut Grove.

Lanzarote Calero Sailing Team, Spain’s representative in the 44Cup, has wrapped up the World Championship in Scheveningen after four days of extreme racing on the North Sea, with gusts exceeding 35 knots and one of the toughest racecourses of the season.

Held at Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club, an idyllic coastal venue in Suffolk, the championship combined competitive racing, challenging tidal conditions, and a strong social programme that brought together sailors, families, and spectators alike.

The OGA held their second Gaffling Championship at Ullswater Yacht Club on Bank Holiday Monday 25th August.

The Northern ILCA circuit held the Northern Championship at Leigh & Lowton SC on the weekend of 30th and 31st August. The event was hosted as part of the club’s regatta weekend, sharing the water with Solutions, Wayfarers and a mixture of club boats.
