Wednesday’s Admiral’s Cup inshore racing in the Solent didn’t quite have the wind of yesterday, but David Maynard was out on the water to catch the action in the morning before the wind switched off for a while.

Fair winds, in the main, were the order of the day for the 28th edition of the Royal Channel Islands Yacht Club’s Waller-Harris Two-handed Triangle Race held from Saturday 12th to Monday 14th July.

This event is unique to Poole Yacht Club consisting of two races around the harbour islands on Saturday and a conventional open meeting on the Sunday with four races around the cans.
